Environmental activist Wendell Berry expressed this way back in 1971. Urvara group’s name derives inspiration from what it believes in the most- ‘Sustainability with productivity’. Our entire business ideology is sustainability of agriculture for 21 Century and we are determined to give comprehensive solutions for farming community of India. Our social values encourage us to share our knowledge, train the farmers upgrade their social economic status with advanced technologies. Our logo also represents what we stand for namely sustainability, increased productivity and reverence for Mother Earth.
We in the 21st century are still exploiting Mother Earth more and more as a matter of right. The scenario for agriculture in India which is predominantly an agrarian economy looks bleak. On one hand urbanization and industrialization is reducing land available for agriculture and on the other hand rising population increases the food demand day by day thus widening the demand-supply gap. Use of chemicals,chemical fertilizer and increased Salinization has hampered soil health which in turn leads to reduced crop nutrition, increased pest diseases and drop in productivity leading to a vicious cycle. Roosevelt once said, “The Nation that destroys its soil destroys itself.” It’s an ugly truth but one we need to face today. It takes approximately 3,000 years for nature to produce 6 inches of topsoil. Every 28 years, 1 inch of topsoil is lost as a result of current farming practices! It’s time to stop exploiting Mother Earth as a right and start to care about it for the sake of our future generations. It’s time to revolutionize the agribusiness and tap into advancements in integrated nutrient approach, residue free product development, organic farming and biotechnology.

The partners of Urvara Group have a splendid and varied experience of 15 years in sales, business development, channel management, supply chain management and product development in the agricultural sector. Transparency and honesty are the foundations which we all share and they reflect in our business transactions and products.

Within a short period of about a year we already have a network of around hundred dealers and have established our presence in Maharashtra, Gujarat, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Rajasthan and Punjab. In the second phase of operations we also plan to launch a mobile and web based app by which our services will be available to farmers at their fingertips. It is our zeal for a harmonious planet, a progressive farmer community, and a nation with optimum food security that drives us to innovate and serve.
